What is Trivia for Charity.com?

Trivia for Charity.com gives you a chance to earn money for charitable groups by answering free trivia questions. You pick the group and answer the questions, and we donate the money!

Where does the money come from that Trivia for Charity.com donates?

We are supported entirely by advertising.  As visitors answer trivia questions, ads appear on the page.  Ad revenue is then donated to worthy charitable groups. We would like to thank the generous advertisers who make this effort possible.

What do the graphics on the side of the page mean?

The items represent what the charitable groups can buy with the money you have earned for them. For example, if you choose Cancer Research and answer 10 questions correctly, you have earned enough to purchase 4 square cm of Autoclave tape. The graphics are an interesting way for you to see how much of a difference you are making.

How are funds distributed to the charitable groups?

We donate the dollar amount equal to the listed donation.  For example, we do not deliver kibbles to the Humane Society, we donate enough money for them to buy that much food.  Each charitable organization is free to use the funds in the manner they deem most effective.

If I get disconnected from the site, will the money I have earned still be donated?

Yes! All you have to do is click the correct answer and we do the rest.
Play as long as you want. The longer you play, the more money is earned for charity.

Yes.  You can submit questions here, and any questions are greatly appreciated.  Unfortunately we are not able to reply to each submission due to the quantity of entries we receive.  Also we can not guarantee that submitted questions will be posted. Please click on the link on the left side of the page to submit a question.

Can one person really make a difference?

Although the donation for each question may be small, millions of people answering hundred of questions can add up.  A Chinese proverb states:  It is possible to move a mountain by carrying away small stones. Through a combined effort we can help: find a cure for cancer, provide housing for families, and care for homeless pets.

Can I make a donation to Trivia For Charity.com?

No. The only way to earn on Trivia For Charity.com is by answering trivia questions.  We do however strongly encourage donations directly to the charitable organizations we support.
